Isobar for REMA 1000
As REMA 1000’s presence on social media grew, the company wanted an updated visual style for their content on Facebook.
The goal was to create a new consistent look that was true to the brand identity and could work with many different types of assets, but with a more clear and simplistic tone overall. By engaging in dialogue with the client about what had worked and what could be improved upon, a new style with a focus on eye-catching content was created.
In relation to the first REMA 1000 store opening in Bornholm, the company wanted a Facebook campaign with its own distinct voice. Taking inspiration from REMA 1000’s existing visual direction, I conceptualized a look for the campaign where playfulness and the idea of less-is-more were the key factors. The process was preceded by concept sketches, content ideas, and image compositing.
The style for the Vigo app campaign was created using REMA 1000’s visual universe from Meget Mindre Madspild as an inspiration. The hand-drawn illustrations primed and made the look of this campaign unique to other REMA 1000 content on Facebook.
Below are more bits of my work, in the same cleaner and more consistent visual direction, shown as progress videos and before & after systems.
